The Miami Heat will celebrate their 20th anniversary at American Airlines Arena on Thursday night. The Heat will host the reigning NBA champions the Toronto Raptors.
Miami hosted the first NBA game of the 21st century back in January 2, 2000. They defeated the Orlando Magic 111-103 in overtime. John Amaechi of Orlando scored the first basket in the 21st century.
