The Miami Marlins have released outfielder Brayan Hernandez. He was acquired in a five-player trade from the Seattle Mariners for David Phelps on July 20, 2017.
Hernandez has been in the Marlins minor league system for the past three seasons. He spent his time during the 2019 season with Clinton of the Midwest League and Batavia of the New York-Penn League. He had a combined two home runs, 14 runs batted in, .159 batting average, .196 on-base percentage and .461 OPS.
