South Florida will be getting the 2021 NHL All-Star Game, according to George Richards of the The Athletic Miami. The announcement is expected to be made by the NHL this weekend in St. Louis. The event will be held at BB&T Center in Sunrise on January 29-30, 2021.
The arena then known as Office Depot Center had the 53th annual NHL All-Star Game back on February 2, 2003. The first shootout in National Hockey League history was held and Florida Panthers center Olli Jokinen missed in the final shootout attempt to give the victory to the Western Conference over the Eastern Conference.
