The Miami Heat took care of the Washington Wizards 134-129 in overtime at American Airlines Arena on Wednesday night. The Heat have won 12 of their last 17 games.
Miami(31-13) got out in front 30-27 after one quarter and led 69-50 by halftime. Washington(14-29) battled back and trailed 90-83 at the end of the three quarters. It was tied at the end of regulation 118-118, but the Heat outscored the Wizards 16-11 in overtime.
The Heat got a team-high 25 points from Tyler Herro along with a double-double by Jimmy Butler with 24 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds. Goran Dragic also added 22 points and nine assists. Bradley Beal fell short of the double-double for the Wizards with a game-high 38 points and nine rebounds.
