The Miami Marlins traded outfielder Austin Dean to the St. Louis Cardinals for outfielder Diowill Burgos. Dean spent the last two seasons with the Fish.
Dean played 64 games for the Marlins in 2019 season as he compiled a .225 batting average with six home runs and 21 runs batted in. Burgos was with the Cardinals affiliate in the Gulf Coast League during 2019 as he played in 22 games and had two home runs along with eight runs batted in.
