Former Miami Dolphins and University of Miami Hurricanes head coach Jimmy Johnson was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The announcement was made Sunday during the NFL on Fox studio show with Johnson in the Los Angeles studio.
Johnson is best known in the National Football League for leading the Dallas Cowboys to two Super Bowl championships over the Buffalo Bills in Super Bowl XXVII and XXVIII. He was the head coach of the Miami Dolphins from 1996 until 1999.
