Former Miami Marlins pitcher Wei-Yin Chen will sign a contract with the Seattle Mariners. The deal is just for the 2020 season.
Chen spent the past four seasons with the Fish and signed as a free agent on January 19, 2016. He had a 13-19 record with a 5.10 earned-run-average and 299 strikeouts in 358 innings pitched. He was a starting pitcher for the club during the 2016 and 2018 seasons.
