Former Miami sportscaster Len Martez is no longer with WDAE-FM and WDAE-AM in Tampa. He was a Saturday sports host and producer along with covering the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tampa Bay Rays and Tampa Bay Lightning as a reporter since March 2016.
Martez, a Towson State University grad, was first noticed in South Florida on 560 WQAM-AM. He worked as a board operator, producer and sports reporter for that station from September 1997 to June 2007.
He moved to WKEX-AM in Blacksburg, Virginia and was employed as an account executive, producer, sports reporter, weekday sports host and sports director until March 2008. The next stop for Martez was at WFNZ-AM in Charlotte as a sports reporter and weekend host from August 2009 to April 2014.
