Former 560 WQAM-AM sports talk radio host Damon Amendolara is moving from late mornings to the morning shift on CBS Sports Radio Network. He will begin his new position on January 6.
Amendolara, a 2001 Syracuse University grad, started at CBS Sports Radio Network when it launched in January 2013 as the overnight host. He landed as an evening host in January 2015 and he was promoted to the late morning slot in April 2017.
He once worked at WQAM as the evening host from early 2008 to August 2009. Amendolara went up the east coast to join WBZ-AM in Boston as the evening host from August 2009 until December 2012.
Amendolara was at Sports Radio 770 WWCN-AM in Fort Myers as an afternoon host in the early 2000s. He moved to Kansas City in 2003 and hosted the evening program at KCSP-AM and was elevated to host the morning show in 2004.
