Aleksander Barkov passed Jonthan Huberdeau with his 614th point for the most points ever in Florida Panthers franchise history as the Cats defeated the Detroit Red Wings 5-2 on Monday night at Little Caesars Arena.
Florida leaped over the Pittsburgh Penguins for the final postseason spot in the Eastern Conference. The Panthers, who now hold the second wild-card spot, started a short road trip and visit the Philadelphia Flyers on Tuesday night.
