Knicks Slip By Heat

     The New York Knicks edged the Miami Heat 122-120 on Friday night at Miami-Dade Arena. The Heat have been beaten in six of their last seven games. 
     New York(38-27) held a 37-31 advantage after one quarter and were way ahead 71-56 at halftime. Miami(33-31) cut into the deficit and trailed 96-88 at the end of three quarters. The Heat had a 24-16 spurt to start the fourth quarter and tied it up 112-112 with 3:35 remaining. Julius Randle put in a field goal with 1.1 seconds left to give the Knicks a 122-120 lead. 
     Jimmy Butler contributed a club-high 33 points and eight rebounds for Miami. Tyler Herro chalked up 29 points, eight rebounds and six assists. Bam Adebayo knocked in 18 points and Caleb Martin drained in 14 points. 
     Randle fell short of a double-double with game-highs of 43 points and nine rebounds for New York. Jalen Brunson added 25 points and R.J. Barrett scored 17 points.
