The Hurricanes held a 34-29 lead at halftime. They led their opponent by at least 18 points in the second half and held off Wake Forest down the stretch.

Hurricanes Get By Wake Forest
The Atlantic Coast Conference co-champion University of Miami Hurricanes barely defeated the Wake Forest University Demon Deacons 74-72 in the ACC Tournament Quarterfinals at the Greensboro Coliseum on Thursday. It was the first postseason game that the Canes were involve in. Miami will face Duke University in the ACC Semifinals tomorrow.
