Miami Upsets Houston

     The #5 University of Miami Hurricanes surprised the #1 University of Houston Cougars 89-75 in the Midwest Region semifinal in Kansas City on Friday night. It will result in no #1 seeds that will play in the Elite Eight round for the first time in NCAA Tournament history. 

     Miami started off strong going on a 7-2 spurt and held a 42-36 halftime lead. The Hurricanes had an 11-0 run and led 70-53 with 10:03 remaining in the second half.
