This Florida Panthers team from the 2024-25 season will remain on the replica Stanley Cup that is shown throughout the world for the next 58 years until 2083. The original Stanley Cup at the Hockey Hall Of Fame in Toronto will always have the Florida Panthers listed on it along with the names from the team.
The National Hockey League has stated that the maximum number of 52 people from the club can be engraved on the Stanley Cup. The Panthers had 53 names on it in 2023-24, which included 24 players.
The name of the Florida Panthers along with the 2024-25 season will be listed on the top line. Owners Vincent Viola and Teresa Viola will be the first names from the organization on the trophy. It will be followed by John Viola, Michael Viola, Travis Viola and co-owner Doug Cifu. Team president Matthew Caldwell, general manager Bill Zito and head coach Paul Maurice will be next, It will be followed by numerous people including hockey operations personnel, analytics department, player personnel department, scouting department, coaching staff, athletic training staff, equipment staff and video staff.
The Florida Panthers players will be the final people engraved on the Stanley Cup. Aleksander Barkov with the name captain will first appear. The rest of the players are expected to be listed in alphabetical order just like last year. The players that will also appear on the Stanley Cup for the second straight time will include Aaron Ekblad, Matthew Tkachuk, Sergei Bobrovsky, Sam Bennett, Carter Verhaeghe, Sam Reinhart, Anton Lundell, Eetu Luostarinen, Evan Rodrigues, Gustav Forsling, Niko Mikkola, Dmitry Kulikov and Johan Gadjovich.
The rest of the players will be first-time names on the Stanley Cup. It will have Brad Marchand, Seth Jones, Nate Schmidt, Uvis Balinskis, Jesper Boqvist, Tomas Nosek, A.J. Greer, Mackie Samoskevich, Nico Sturm and Vitek Vanacek.
