Miami Heat 2025 NBA Draft

     The first round of the 2025 National Basketball Association Draft was held at Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Wednesday night. The Miami Heat had the 20th overall pick that they acquired in the Jimmy Butler trade from the Golden State Warriors. 

     The Heat ended up selecting Kasparas Jakucionis of the University of Illinois. He averaged 15.0 points, 5.7 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game last season. Miami does not have a second-round pick in the NBA Draft tomorrow.
