Inter Miami CF Ties Palmeiras

     Inter Miami CF tied Palmeiras 2-2 in their final game of Group A in the 2025 Club World Cup at Hard Rock Stadium on Monday night. The Herons finished in second place, on goal differential, with a 1-0-2 record in Group A play.

     The Herons advanced to the Round of 16. They will face Paris Saint-Germain at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on Sunday. 

     In the first half. Inter Miami CF broke out to a 1-0 lead in the 16th minute. Tadeo Allende was able to get the tally. 

     It became 2-0 for the Herons during the 65th minute. Luis Suarez was able to put the ball in the back of the net. 

     Palmeiras came back from a 2-0 deficit later in the second half. Paulinho scored in the 80th minute followed Mauricio in the 87th minute.
