Paris Saint-Germain Dominates Inter Miami CF

     Paris Saint-Germain eliminated Inter Miami CF 4-0 in the 2025 Club World Cup Round of 16 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on Sunday. The Herons finished their first Club World Cup appearance in franchise history.
     PSG jumped to a 1-0 lead in the sixth minute. They took an indirect kick from 23 yards on the left side. It was kicked diagonally to the right side and Joao Neves placed in a header from four yards out. 
     It became 2-0 during the 39th minute. Neves was able to tap the ball in with his right foot from seven yards away. 
     Paris Saint-Germain made it 3-0 in the 44th minute. Tomas Aviles put in an own goal off a crossing pass from the right side. 
     Inter Miami CF trailed 4-0 during stoppage time in the first half. Arcraf Hakimi took an initial shot from nine yards that went off the crossbar. He followed that with a half-volley shot with his right foot from six yards out.
