Rockies Sweep Marlins

      The Colorado Rockies swept the Miami Marlins with a 3-2 win on Wednesday at loanDepot park. The Rockies snapped their MLB record 22-series losing streak going back to last year yesterday. They finished with a three-game winning streak and a 3-6 record on their nine-game road swing. 
      The Marlins completed their six-game homestand with a 1-5 record and a four-game losing streak. The Fish have tomorrow off and will begin a nine-game road trip on Friday versus the Tampa Bay Rays. 
      Colorado(12-50) jumped out to a 1-0 advantage in the top of the first. Hunter Goodman tripled into the left-center field alley to score Thairo Estrada. 
      The Rockies expanded their lead to 2-0 with one run in the fifth inning. Jordan Beck powered a ground-rule double over the right-center field fence and Tyler Freeman crossed the plate. 
      It became 3-0 for Colorado in the top of the sixth. Brenton Doyle hit a sacrifice fly to right-center field and Goodman reached home. 
      Miami(23-37) broke the shutout in the bottom of the seventh with two runs and trailed 3-2. Heriberto Hernandez knocked in Connor Norby with a base hit into left field. Jesus Sanchez followed with force out at second and Eric Wagaman scored.
