Florida Panthers center Sam Bennett was named the Conn Smythe Trophy winner of the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Panthers defeated the Edmonton Oilers 5-1 in Game 6 of the 2025 Stanley Cup Final on Tuesday night and took the best-of-seven series 4-2 to capture their second straight Stanley Cup title.
Bennett finished with a postseason-leading 15 goals along with seven assists for 22 points during 23 games in the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs. He compiled six goals in the 2025 Stanley Cup Final, which included four goals in the first three games.
The Panthers won the Stanley Cup last year, however one of their players did not receive the Conn Smythe Trophy. It was given to Connor McDavid of the Edmonton Oilers.
