Joe Thornton Elected To Hockey Hall Of Fame

     Former Florida Panthers center Joe Thornton has been elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame. He spent his NHL career with the Boston Bruins. San Jose Sharks and Toronto Maple Leafs prior to his arrival in South Florida.
     Thornton played his final NHL season with Florida in 2021-22. The club won the Atlantic Division and captured the Presidents' Trophy for the best regular season record. He had five goals and five assists for 10 points in 34 games with the Panthers.
