The Miami Heat improved in the record books as they won their 21st consecutive game on Friday night with a 107-94 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks at BMO Harris Bradley Center. They now have the third longest winning streak in NBA history as they surpassed the Milwaukee Bucks who won 20 straight games during the 1970-71 season.
Chris Bosh had 28 points and seven rebounds in 36 minutes while LeBron James added a double-double with 28 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists in 38 minutes. Dwyane Wade fell short of a double-double with 20 points, nine assists and seven rebounds in 33 minutes.
Neither team led by more than six points in the opening quarter as Milwaukee(32-32) had a 27-26 lead after one quarter. Miami(50-14) went on a 17-8 rally at the end of the first half and were up 51-42 at halftime.
The Heat extended their lead to double digits up to 17 points and led 84-68 after three quarters. The Bucks were only able to cut the gap down to seven points in the fourth quarter as Miami pulled away with the victory.
