Heat Tame Bobcats, Win Streak To 26

    The Miami Heat had little trouble with a 109-77 victory over the Charlotte Bobcats on Sunday at American Airlines Arena and increased their winning streak to 26 straight games. The Heat moved their record at home this 32-3 this season and Dwyane Wade did not dress for the game.
    Charlotte(16-54) began the game on a 19-8 edge then Miami(55-14) scored the next 15 consecutive points and led 23-18 after one quarter. The Heat picked up a 16-2 rally early in the second quarter and were up 47-39 at halftime.
    The Bobcats cut the lead down to five points, but the Heat extended the margin to double digits and headed into the fourth quarter ahead 73-57. Miami increased the gap with 12-2 run at the start of the final quarter and had a comfortable 85-59 lead with 9:29 to go and cruised to victory.
    LeBron James another double-double with 29 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds in 34 minutes. Chris Bosh added 15 points and six rebounds in 31 minutes for the Heat. Miami got bench scoring from Ray Allen with 14 points and  Norris Cole with 15 points.
    The Bobcats were limited on the score sheet as Kemba Walker had 20 points with six rebounds in 36 minutes. Gerald Henderson contributed 18 points in 36 minutes and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist knocked in a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
