WQAM Moves K-Rog And Guzio

Sports Radio 560 WQAM-AM made a programning change on Monday as they have moved The K-Rog and Guzio Show from evenings to the midday shift on an interim basis. The show is co-hosted by Kevin Rogers, a.k.a. K-Rog, and Brandon Guzio. They replaced Dan Sileo who was let go by the station after a ten-month tenure.
WQAM added Brandon Guzio as an evening co-host with Kevin Rogers back in October 2012. Guzio joined the station in early September 2012 as an afternoon sports anchor for the Jorge Sedano Show and a weekend host. He was the midday co-host with Eric Reed for only one week in late August 2012 on 104.3 The Ticket WAXY-FM.
Guzio was the morning sports anchor at 790 The Ticket WAXY-AM for several years on the Jorge Sedano Show. He became the interim morning host from early April until early May 2012 when Sedano left. He was also a weekend host on that station. Guzio was an early afternoon co-host with Steve White at 790 The Ticket from May until late September 2009 when he was switched to the midday sports anchor position. He began at the station as a sports producer and sports reporter in 2004.
Rogers has been the evening host on WQAM for over five years after beginning there as a fill-in host. In addition, he has been the Florida Panthers studio host since September 2010. He joined 790 The Ticket during the mid-2000's. During that time he was a late night host, evening host, late morning host and Florida Panthers studio host at that station. Rogers, a Florida State University grad, began his professional career as a sports host on KCSP-AM in Kansas City.
