Sixers Run By Heat

     The Philadelphia 76ers raced by the Miami Heat 119-96 on Wednesday night at Miami-Dade Arena. Both teams played the second game of a home-and-home series. The Heat, who have lost five of their last six contests, participated in the first home game since February 13 and began a six-game homestand. 
     Miami(33-30) took a 38-34 lead at the end of the first quarter. Philadelphia(40-21) went on a 24-7 spurt to begin the second quarter and led 71-53 at halftime. 
     The Heat scored 10 consecutive points and the 76ers answered back with nine straight points during the third quarter. The Sixers were up 96-77 heading into the final frame. Philadelphia got the first six points of the fourth and had a 25-point margin. 
     Bam Adebayo had 20 points and eight rebounds for the Heat. Jimmy Butler scored 16 points and Max Strus added 13 points. 
     James Harden led the 76ers with 23 points and seven rebounds while Tyrese Maxey put in 27 points. Tobias Harris contributed 18 points in the victory.
