Dallas(4-3) had a 30-24 advantage in the end of the first quarter. Miami(6-1) compiled 46 points in the second quarter and were up 70-62 at halftime. The Heat remained ahead 99-88 after three quarters and never trailed the Mavericks during the second half.
Tyler Herro came off the bench and led the Heat with a team-high 25 points. Jimmy Butler added 23 points, six rebounds and six assists. Bam Adebayo had a double-double of 22 points and 13 rebounds while Kyle Lowry fell short of a double-double with 22 points and nine rebounds.
Luka Doncic ended up with a game-high 33 points for the Mavs. Jalen Brunson was able to contribute 25 points and seven rebounds. Tim Hardaway Jr. dropped in 17 points.
