Marlins To Extend Sandy Alcantara

     The Miami Marlins and pitcher Sandy Alcantara have agreed to a contract extension. It is expected to be for five years at $56 million. 

     Alcanatara was acquired from the St. Louis Cardinals along with several other players for Marcell Ozuna in December 2017. He has played with the Marlins over the last four seasons with a 20-34 record with a 3.49 earned run average.
