West Palm Beach Ratings October 2021

     The ratings were released for West Palm Beach sports talk format radio stations. The time span went from the second week of September until the second week of October. 

     Fox Sports 640 South Florida WMEN-AM doubled their audience as they rocketed up from a 0.3 to a 0.7 in the month. It was their best ratings since May 2020 and last reached that plateau in December 2016. The New York Yankees made a charge in the final two weeks of the regular season and captured the second American League Wild-Card spot. They were eliminated in the Wild-Card Game by the Boston Red Sox. Florida Atlantic University football was at full swing with a 3-3 record. 

     Sports Radio 1230 The Zone WBZT-AM had a major change in the weekday lineup during the period. The morning show with Jeff DeForrest was dropped by the radio station and iHeartMedia Miami on September 21. CBS Sports Radio Network was plugged into that time slot and it is now broadcast 24 hours a day at WBZT. They remained at a 0.0 for the ninth consecutive month and for the 19th time in the last 20 months.
