Soul Bowl 2021 Preview

     The Blanche Ely Tigers host the Dillard Panthers in the 2021 Soul Bowl at Richard L. Williams Stadium in Pompano Beach on Saturday night. It is the last regular season high school football game to be played in Broward County this year. 

     Dillard(8-1) has won the last four South Bowls. The Panthers have outscored the Tigers 171-36 in the last four years. Blanche Ely(1-8) has won seven of past 12 Soul Bowl contests. 

     The Panthers barely got by the Plantation Colonels 41-40 last week following their only defeat of the season to St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders 23-13 the week before. The Tigers fell at home to the Olympic Heights Lions 16-13 last week and have lost four straight games.
