Key West Closes Boca Raton

     The Key West Conchs moved by the Boca Raton Bobcats 30-7 at Bobcat Stadium on Friday night in Boca Raton. The Conchs made the long trip from the Florida Keys to the southern edge of Palm Beach County for the contest. It was the first game of the 2026 regular season for both high schools. 
     Key West(1-0) struck for a touchdown in the first quarter for a 7-0 advantage. The Conchs added another score three minutes into the second quarter and led 14-0. 
     Boca Raton(0-1) broke the shutout late in the first half to make it 14-7. They picked up a touchdown with four minutes to go in the second quarter. 
     In the second half, the Conchs expanded their lead to 22-7. Key West compiled a touchdown followed by a two-point conversion in the opening minute of the third quarter. The Conchs did the same thing late in the final quarter and were up 30-7.
