Teddy Bridgewater Retiring Again

     It looks like quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is about to retire again from the National Football League. He has stepped away from the Detroit Lions and is likely to be placed on the Lions reserve/retired list. 

     Bridgewater played quarterback with the Miami Northwestern Bulls while in high school. He later participated in college football with the University of Louisville Cardinals. 

     He did play five games with the Miami Dolphins during the 2022 season. Bridgewater had 49 pass completions for 683 passing yards and four touchdowns that year. 

     Bridgewater coached Miami Northwestern to the 2024 FHSAA Class 3A state championship. The Teddy Bridgewater Act was signed by Florida governor Ron DeSantis back in May. It allowed a coach to use his own money to help their high school players with expenses.
