The Carolina Panthers are expected to sign tight end Darren Waller. It will be a one-year contract between him and the club.
Waller retired from pro football and missed the 2024 season. He returned to playing in the NFL with the Miami Dolphins in 2025. Waller made 24 catches for 283 receiving yards and six touchdowns in nine games with the Fins last season.
He had several stints in the National Football League. Waller has played for the Baltimore Ravens, Oakland Raiders, Las Vegas Raiders, New York Giants and Miami Dolphins.
