Pirates Dump Marcell Ozuna

     Former Miami Marlins outfielder Marcell Ozuna has been released by the Pittsburgh Pirates. It was his only season in Pittsburgh. He compiled eight home runs, 29 runs batted in and a .203 batting average in 70 contests with the Bucs. 

     Ozuna played his first five Major League Baseball seasons with the Marlins from 2013 to 2017. He stacked up 96 home runs, 361 runs batted in and a .277 batting average in 653 games with Miami. Ozuna later captured a World Series title with the Atlanta Braves in 2021.
