Former Miami Marlins outfielder Joey Wiemer has agreed to join the Chicago White Sox. He is signing a minor league contract. Wiemer was placed on release waivers by the Washington Nationals several days ago.
Wiemer played one season for the Marlins in 2025. He chalked up three home runs, 12 runs batted in and a .236 batting average in 27 contests with Miami.
