The Dwyer Panthers shut out the Royal Palm Beach Wildcats 28-0 on Friday night at Blum Stadium in a District 13-7A game. Dwyer quarterback Todd Centeio started the past two years with the Panthers and the previous two years with Royal Palm Beach.
Dwyer(6-0, 3-0) scored at 4:24 of the first quarter as running back Jakari Moses ran the ball in from two yards out. Centeio added a four-yard touchdown run with 3:00 left in the second to give the Panthers a 14-0 margin.
Royal Palm Beach(1-6, 1-2) surrendered two touchdowns in the final quarter. Centeio connected a 28-yard pass to wide receiver Tommie Luke for a score and later running back Reggie Gadson scored on a five-yard run midway through the fourth quarter.
