The Fort Lauderdale returned home following a three-game road trip and topped FC Edmonton 1-0 on Wednesday night at Central Broward Stadium. The Strikers snapped a four-game losing streak in their first game of a three-game homestand.
Fort Lauderdale(5-9-5) got out early to a 1-0 lead. Geison Moura was able to score on a header during the 11th minute against FC Edmonton(9-4-6).
