The Fort Lauderdale Strikers finished the 2016 NASL regular season with a 1-0 victory over Ottawa Fury FC at TD Place on Saturday night. The Strikers tied a club record in the NASL modern era this year with 41 combined points from the spring and fall seasons.
Fort Lauderdale(7-10-5) scored the only goal of the contest during the second half. Amauri put in a tally for the Strikers in the 66th minute against Ottawa(5-10-7).
