The Fort Lauderdale Strikers played their home finale on Saturday night and were eliminated from playoff contention by Rayo OKC 2-0 at Central Broward Stadium. Fort Lauderdale(6-10-5) had made the playoffs for the last two seasons when they lost the NASL Soccer Bowl to San Antonio in 2014 and fell to the New York Cosmos in a semifinal game last year.
Rayo OKC(8-5-8), who are on the cusp of making the playoffs, got their two goals during the second half. Sebastien Ibeagha made it 1-0 at the 49-minute mark and former Strikers player Pecka added to the margin during stoppage time in the 90th minute.
