The Florida Panthers were shut out by the Buffalo Sabres 3-0 on Saturday. The Panthers, who have lost three straight games, conclude their four-game road trip on Sunday against the Detroit Red Wings. The Sabres entered the game with the worst record in the NHL this season.
Florida(3-4-1) surrendered one goal in each period of the contest. Johan Larsson scored at 7:47 of the first period for Buffalo(2-3-2). The Sabres got power-play goals by Kyle Okposo at 5:57 of the second and Sam Reinhart at 8:48 of the third period.
