The Fort Lauderdale Strikers kept their slim playoff hopes as they blanked Puerto Rico FC 2-0 on Saturday night at Central Broward Stadium. The club has two games left and are three points behind Minnesota United FC and Rayo OKC in the combined standings for the final playoff spot.
Fort Lauderdale(6-9-5) compiled two goals in the second half against Puerto Rico FC(4-7-9). Geison Moura scored the game-winning goal for the second straight game for the Strikers in the 78th minute. Jose Angulo was able to add another tally for his fifth goal of the season during the 85th minute.
