The monthly ratings were released and at least one sports format radio station in the West Palm Beach region appeared. 640 Fox Sports South Florida WMEN-AM showed up while the numbers for 106.3 ESPN West Palm WUUB-FM and 760 ESPN Deportes WEFL-AM were not published.
640 Fox Sports South Florida saw their ratings almost double as they went from a 0.5 to a 0.8 in October. It was the highest ratings that WMEN had since the beginning of the year. They did have a 0.7 back in June.
It helped being a New York Yankees network affiliate as they stayed in playoff contention until the final week of the season. In addition, the Florida Panthers opened up their regular season following a division title in 2015-16.
