The Miami Heat took down the Los Angeles Clippers 121-98 at Staples Center on Saturday night. It was the second game of a six-game road trip for the Heat.
Miami(11-14) had a 34-30 advantage after one quarter and still led 65-62 at halftime. Los Angeles(16-9) slightly closed the gap to 91-90 after the third quarter. The Heat went on a 28-7 run to begin the fourth quarter and never looked back.
Dwyane Wade led the Heat with 25 points and Justise Winslow fell short of a double-double with 21 points along with nine assists. Two players almost combined double-double as Kelly Olynyk compiled 15 points and nine rebounds while James Johnson put together 18 points and nine rebounds. Tobias Harris had a team-high 20 points for the Clippers.
