The Miami Heat continued their home stand and handled the Cleveland Cavaliers 118-94 on Friday night at American Airlines Arena. The Heat have been victorious in six of their last seven games. The defending Eastern Conference champion Cavaliers have the worst record in the NBA.
Cleveland(8-28) had a 30-29 advantage after one quarter and trailed 56-52 at halftime. Miami(17-17) outscored the Cavs by 11 points in the third quarter and led 82-69.
Justise Winslow had a game-high line of 24 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists for the Heat. Bam Adebayo dropped in 18 points and Rodney McGruder added 16 points. Jordan Clarkson put in a team-high 18 points for the Cavaliers.
