The Toronto Raptors edged the Miami Heat 106-104 at American Airlines Arena on Wednesday night. The loss snapped a five-game winning streak for the Heat. The Raptors still have the best record in the NBA.
Miami(16-17) were up 31-23 after one quarter and had a 58-44 lead at halftime. Toronto(26-10)cut the entire in the third quarter and moved ahead 81-79.
Justise Winslow got a team-high 21 points while Josh Richardson had 17 points for Miami. Hassan Whiteside added a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Kawhi Leonard dropped a game-high 30 points for the Raptors and Danny Green put in 18 points.
