The Buffalo Bills downed the Miami Dolphins 37-20 on Sunday at Hard Rock Stadium. The loss snapped the Dolphins two-game winning streak.
The Bills got the only points in the first quarter. Stephen Hauschka kicked a 51-yard field goal at 12:04 and 34-yard field goal at 4:29.
In the second quarter, Buffalo(7-3) made it 13-0 when quarterback Josh Allen threw a 40-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver John Brown on the right sideline at the 13:09 mark. Hauschka booted a 21-yard field goal at 7:41 and they had a 16-point margin.
The Dolphins scored with 3:39 left in the second. Running back Kalen Ballage went up the middle and scored from three yard away.
It was answered back by the Bills with 1:23 to go. Tight end Dawson Knox caught a 23-yard pass from Allen on the right hash marks and scooted on in.
Miami(2-8) responded on the next play. Jakeem Grant returned the ensuing kickoff 101 yards for a touchdown 14 seconds later and they were down 23-14.
Buffalo kept the pressure on during the third quarter. Allen rushed to his right and got into the end zone from eight yard out at the 6:55 mark.
The Fins closed it to 30-20 at 14:35 of the fourth quarter. Grant ran around the right end and scored on a seven-yard touchdown.
Allen would connect another touchdown pass to Brown. This time it was for nine yards with 10:38 left in the fourth.
