The Treasure Coast take a trip to Palm Beach County and face the Santaluces Chiefs on Friday night. It is a Class 8A regional quarterfinal between both teams.
Treasure Coast(8-1) would be undefeated if not for a one-point district loss against Vero Beach. The Titans have outscored their opponents 337-130 this season. Quarterback Jonius Watkins can dictate the pace for the team on offense. They will depend on their rushing attack with running backs Sean Miller, Joey Fleurjuste, Eden James and Keegan Davis.
Santaluces(7-2) captured the District 11 title as they beat Park Vista 21-17 two weeks ago. The Chiefs played Olympic Heights last week and came up with a 21-7 win. They are undefeated at home this season with a 4-0 record. Running back Val Carnegie will get most of the rushing opportunities followed by Eric Wallace and Brian Coe Jr. Chiefs quarterback Kobe Lewis looks to guide them on offense.
