The Miami Dolphins released running back Mark Walton on Monday. He signed with the club back in May and was currently serving a four-game suspension. Walton had 53 carries for 201 yards in seven games this year.
He was selected in the fourth round by the Cincinnati Bengals in the 2018 NFL Draft. Walton played 14 games last season and had 14 carries for 34 yards.
Walton played three seasons with the University of Miami Hurricanes. He helped the school capture the ACC Coastal Division title in 2017.
He went to Booker T. Washington High School in Miami. Walton led the Tornadoes to three FHSAA Class 4A state championships 2012, 2013, 2014.
