The Florida Panthers have named Roberto Luongo special advisor to the general manager. He will worked alongside Panthers president of hockey operations and general manager Dale Tallon.
Luongo played goalie and had two stints with the club from 2000 to 2006 and 2013 to 2019. He has all the goalie records for the Florida Panthers franchise including wins, saves, shutouts and games played. He is second all-time in NHL history with 1,044 games played, third with 489 wins and second with 28,409 saves and ninth with 77 shutouts.
