The Miami Heat handled the Washington Wizards 112-103 at American Airlines Arena on Friday night. The Heat, who have won four of their last five games, were coming off a three-game road trip.
Washington(7-14) had a slight lead 28-27 after one quarter and stayed ahead 65-61 by halftime. Miami(16-6) would have an 86-85 advantage at the end of three quarters and outscored the Wizards 26-18 in the final frame.
Jimmy Butler compiled a triple-double for the Heat with 28 points, 11 assists and 11 rebounds in 28 minutes of play. Bam Adebayo nailed a double-double with 24 points and 14 rebounds. Tyler Herro dropped in 22 points while Kendrick Nunn added 14. Bradley Beal put together 23 points along with eight assists.
