Sports Talk 790 The Ticket WAXY-AM midday co-host Amber Wilson has signed a contract extension with Entercom Communications. She will continue to co-host a program with Jonathan Zaslow.
Wilson, a University of Florida and University of Miami grad, joined The Ticket in March 2016 to replace Joy Taylor as a morning co-host with Zaslow and Brett Romberg. She was moved along with Zaslow to the midday shift at that station in August.
She previously was at SNY in New York City as the host of Beer Money from 2010 to 2011. Wilson then was a studio co-host at WFOR-TV Channel 4 in Miami for the weekend show Sports Bang with Steve Goldstein and Jon Weiner.
Wilson also worked for several other South Florida media organizations. She was employed at CBS Sports Interactive from 2006 until 2008 and at Open Sports with Sid Rosenberg from 2008 to 2009.
