Florida Atlantic University hired Willie Taggart as their new head football coach on Wednesday. He replaces Lane Kiffin who left the position on December 7 to become the head coach at Ole Miss.
Taggart recently was the head coach of the Florida State University Seminoles until November. He had a two-year record of 9-12 with FSU.
He was first noticed in the state of Florida as the University of South Florida head coach and was there from 2013 until 2016. Taggart guided the Bulls to a 24-25 record. Taggart then took the helm at the University of Oregon in 2017 and had a 7-5 record.
